What’s working right now.

• Keep it short.

  A 10 second clip, or a 3 to 5 slide photo post with the hook on slide one.

• An ordinary place plus one odd detail.

  Writing in the car with a giant pencil. Hiding in the closet with a headlamp to fill it out in secret.

• Photo carousels are beating video this month.

  In this category, right now. Try both, but do not skip the carousel.

• Voiceover or on-screen text over a trending original sound.

  Not talking to camera.

• The one thing only we have: the page plays a video of the person who wrote it.

  Show it, don't explain it. Don't say scan, QR, NFC, app, or code on camera.

Hooks you can use.

• He filled out every page. Then I found out every page talks.
• Don't give her this unless you want her crying at the kitchen table.
