Static is boring. EchoTap turns ordinary objects (a bracelet, a card, a book) into living video moments. Tap or scan, and the people you love show up on your screen.

A short message someone leaves in your group: a video, a hello, a happy birthday, a thanks for being here. Like a tweet, but it never gets buried in a feed, and it's only for the people in your group.

The app is free. Recording, watching, sharing, and the highlight reel are all included. You only pay for the physical product: a bracelet, a card, or a book. There's also an optional EchoTap Pass ($9.99/year) that unlocks a few extras.

On our private servers, visible only to people in your group. We don't post them to social media, sell them to advertisers, or use them to train AI. You can also save any video to your own camera roll anytime.

Email support@echotap.io. We read every message and answer within 24 hours most days. Screenshots and short screen recordings help a lot.

With your phone number. We text you a 6-digit code, you enter it, and you're in. No password, and no email to remember. You can add an email later in your account if you want one.

Your phone number is your login now. To move your account (and everything in it) to a new number, email support@echotap.io. Email is optional, and you can add or update it yourself in your account.

You decide, with your group's privacy setting. On Open (the most common), anyone with the link can preview the featured echo and members see everything. On Members only, nothing shows unless you're a signed-in member. On Verified, every member confirms with Face ID or fingerprint first. You pick the level when you set up the group and can change it anytime.

Yes, both. EchoTap runs in any modern phone browser, with no app to download. For the smoothest experience, add it to your home screen.

Almost always this means your phone's browser is set to private or incognito mode, which forgets you whenever it closes. Switch your default browser out of private mode, or add EchoTap to your home screen, and you'll stay signed in.

On iPhone: open echotap.io in Safari, tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen." On Android: open it in Chrome, tap the menu, then "Add to Home screen." Opening EchoTap from that icon keeps you signed in and feels like a real app.

Turn on text alerts in your account, then tap the bell on any group to choose whether that group texts you. You can also set how often: right away, or a smart digest so you're not pinged constantly. Alerts stay off until you turn them on.

An optional membership ($9.99/year) that unlocks extras like compiling a whole group's videos into one downloadable highlight film. Everything else stays free.

A physical greeting card with an EchoTap QR code on it. Friends record their messages, the person you love scans the card, and watches every one. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, holidays, the moments worth keeping.

After you buy a card, scan the QR code and create your account. Name the group ("Mom's 70th Birthday"), add the event date and a cover photo if you want, and record your first greeting. Then share the link so friends can add theirs.

The buyer taps "Invite friends" and shares the link. Anyone who taps the link signs in, records their greeting, and Echotap adds it to the feed.

When you give them the physical card, they scan the QR code. The greetings open in their phone browser, no app to download. They watch and swipe up for the next one. You can also forward the link directly if you want to skip the QR scan.

Yes. The QR code and link point to the same group forever. Often the person being celebrated records a thank-you back to everyone, and that's when the card really comes alive. A card can keep growing long after the original event.

Yes. Open the card, find the greeting, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Delete. You can delete greetings you've sent, and the Boss of the card can delete any greeting.

Yes. Open the card in your dashboard anytime to watch every greeting that's been added. As the Boss of the card, you can delete anything that doesn't fit before handing it over.

One video file with every greeting stitched together, so you can download it and save it to your phone or computer. A way to keep the whole card in one place, even if you stop using Echotap.

A bracelet with a small tag you tap to your phone. A private feed opens, full of short video, audio, and photo messages from your group. They come as Bestie Packs of two, so you keep one and give one to a friend.

Tap your phone to your bracelet and your feed opens. Tap Reply to record an Echo. Shoot video, record audio, or take a photo, then hit Send. Everyone in the group sees it in their feed.

Only people in your group. That means anyone who has a bracelet from the set or who you've invited with a link. Share access carefully. A private mode is coming as a premium feature for groups that want more control.

Open your group on the dashboard and tap Invite. You'll get a short link to text or share. Anyone who taps the link and signs in is added to the group. Send it directly to people you want in. Anyone who gets the link can join.

Yes. Open the group, find the Echo, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Delete Echo. You can delete Echos you've sent, and the Boss of the group can delete any Echo.

Your Echos and groups live in your account, not on the bracelet. Sign in at echotap.io and you'll see everything in your dashboard. You can keep using the group without a bracelet, or buy a new one and add it to your group.

Most modern phones can read NFC, but if yours can't or you'd rather not tap, anyone in your group can share a direct link to the feed. Same experience, just open it from the link.

Hold the tag on your bracelet flat against the back of your phone, near the top. On most iPhones the reader is at the very top edge; on Android it's usually center-back. Hold it still for a second and a link pops up. Tap it and your feed opens. If nothing happens, make sure NFC is on (it's on by default on iPhone), or ask anyone in your group to text you the direct link.

Tap it to your phone, sign in with your number, and follow the short setup. You can start a new group, join a friend's group, or connect the bracelet to a group you already have. It walks you through naming the group, adding a photo, and inviting friends.

In your group, tap Invite and add your friend's number. The next time they tap their own bracelet and sign in with that number, they join automatically. No links to chase down.

Open your group and tap the privacy setting. Open (most common) lets anyone with the link preview the featured echo. Members only hides everything from non-members. Verified is the strongest: every member confirms with Face ID or fingerprint each time. Only the group's boss can change it.

One to keep, one to give. You and your friend each wear one and share the same private feed, so you can leave each other messages anytime.

A printed book you fill with appreciation for someone you love, then give to them. Friends and family add short video messages that play when the recipient scans the code inside. Two titles are out now: "Here's to You, From All of Us" for family, and "Here's to Us, and Every Wild Minute" for couples.
